If you want to start your digital transformation journey, then you will need to follow these seven processes:

1. Planning
First, you’ll have to identify your most visionary customers. Partner with your most visionary customers to establish your brand as digital leader rapidly.

2. Strategizing
Next, you’ll create a strategic partnership strategy for each of your chosen visionary customers.

3. Approval
Then, you’ll discuss your strategy with key sponsors in your organisation such as CMO (Corporate Marketing Officer) or CSO (Corporate Sales Officer). After they’ve approved the strategy, you’ll continue to step 4.

4. Team Building
You, the digital transformation program leader, will choose your team members and ask for their commitment. If they are committed to joining, then you’ll need to get the approval from their line managers.

5. Business Case
The first task of your team is to create a business case for creating quick wins that generate a positive cash flow within six weeks to three months.

6. Commitment
You and your team will present the business case to the program sponsor(s) for approval. After getting their approval, you’re ready to go.

7. Getting Started
Next you’ll set up an action plan (goal, tasks, responsible, date of accomplishment)
