RAPIDKNOWHOW® · ONE POWER STRATEGY ENGINE™ · 30 OCTOBER 2026
MESSER · DACH + CEE 2027 · INDEPENDENT BUSINESS CASE
BUILD PROFITABLE LOCAL CASH GROWTH.
ONE COMPANY. ONE JOB. ONE STRATEGY. ONE MEASURABLE DECISION.
● 01 ENTER — ONE JOB
How can Messer turn its regional industrial-gas network and targeted investment into higher recurring cash generation from profitable local customers in DACH + CEE?
Messer reported €4.5 billion revenue, €1.4 billion EBITDA and €747 million investment for 2025. Net debt decreased by €304 million to €3.2 billion. Messer reported investments in European on-site and cylinder filling operations and cited growth in European food and beverage and medical-gas demand. These are FY2025 Group results and qualitative regional observations, not a DACH + CEE forecast.
Public evidence: Messer, FY2025 annual results announcement (31 March 2026).
Messer’s stated local-for-local orientation provides a relevant starting point for a regional cash-growth pilot. The independent proposal is to test how one local network can attract more well-matched business without assuming that additional capacity is always needed.
● 02 SELECT — ONE POWER STRATEGY
FILL EXISTING CAPACITY WITH HIGH-VALUE LOCAL DEMAND FIRST.
Match a selected European production or filling site with customer segments where reliable supply, application expertise and suitable partner delivery can generate repeatable cash after cost to serve. Evaluate expansion capex only after the available capacity and local opportunity have been tested.
● 03 ACT — ONE 90-DAY PROOF
ONE pilot. ONE accountable business owner. ONE scale-or-stop decision.
1–30 · BASELINE. Select ONE DACH + CEE production/filling catchment area; map spare usable capacity, nearby customer needs, costs to serve and safety constraints.
31–60 · SELECT & ACT. Qualify a short list of profitable local applications in manufacturing, food or healthcare. Prepare one paid pilot with clear customer and supplier benefit.
61–90 · VERIFY. Review signed demand, net cash contribution, filling utilization, delivery costs and working capital. Decide whether to replicate, partner or invest.
● 04 VERIFY — ONE VALUE
LOCAL NETWORK CASH = collected customer cash − production, filling, transport and service cash costs − incremental working capital − required network investment.
Evidence required: baseline and comparison period; incremental cash after capital and service costs; quality and safety outcomes; a named independent reviewer. No cash result is claimed until the pilot has been completed and verified.
● 05 DECIDE — ONE BOARD MOVE
Authorize ONE 90-day local-network growth pilot with measurable customer benefit and cash contribution, before committing to additional expansion capacity.
