ONE CONCLUSION
LOCATE VERIFIED INDUSTRIAL DEMAND. SELL THE DECISION SYSTEM BEFORE COMMITTING CAPITAL.
Weekly assessment: 11 October 2026 · Industrial gases · DACH & CEE. This is an opportunity shortlist, not a confirmed sales pipeline. Cluster positions are indicative, not surveyed site coordinates.
TOP 6 OPPORTUNITY CLUSTERS
- Dresden / Saxony — semiconductor gases and uptime. NEW: GlobalFoundries announced a €1.1bn Dresden SPRINT expansion milestone on 9 October. Opportunity: high-purity gas reliability, specialty-gas continuity and measurable uptime. Decision: qualify one customer-sponsored uptime assessment. Source: GlobalFoundries, 9 October.
- Northern Germany / JadeWeser — hydrogen hub. NEW: EWE and VERBUND announced a joint venture on 9 October for a planned up-to-500 MW electrolyser, with potential operation from 2032. Opportunity: future storage, compression, purity, backup and logistics. Decision: test actual contracted offtake and timing; do not assume near-term gas revenue. Source: VERBUND/EWE, 9 October.
- Linz / Austria — industrial hydrogen handling. RECENT: voestalpine and VERBUND announced the expanded H2FUTURE pilot on 2 October, including purification, compression and storage. Opportunity: hydrogen quality and industrial delivery services. Decision: qualify a paid purity/storage reliability case. Source: VERBUND, 2 October.
- Schwechat / Vienna–Bratislava — industrial hydrogen and cross-border logistics. CONTINUING: EIB financing of €450m was signed in July for OMV’s Austrian green-hydrogen development; execution and partnership risks remain. Opportunity: cross-border backup, storage and logistics decision systems. Decision: verify the project sponsor, procurement windows and cash-backed need. Source: EIB project register.
- Czechia / Southern Poland — cross-border industrial-gas corridors. CONTINUING: the Czech–German hydrogen interconnector and EU-listed cross-border corridors create strategic optionality, not evidence of immediate customer orders. Opportunity: industrial-gas supply resilience and future hydrogen routing. Decision: interview three anchor customers before any capex. Source: CGHI; EU infrastructure listing.
- Bavaria / Southern Germany — industrial decarbonisation and process gases. CONTINUING: EU industrial heat auction terms were published 24 September, with an anticipated December opening. Opportunity: gas/heat integration, backup and industrial FCF verification. Decision: screen three eligible projects and qualify one paid business case. Source: European Commission.
ONE DECISION
Prioritise Dresden, Linz and the Vienna–Bratislava corridor for three sponsor-verified opportunities; keep long-horizon hydrogen clusters in a gated watchlist. RapidKnowHow® prioritisation based on near-term verifiability, potential FCF, repeatability and low own-capital risk.
TOP 3 ACTIONS
- LOCATE: Name the buyer, sponsor and purchasing trigger in each of the three priority clusters within 7 days.
- VERIFY: Quantify gas reliability, energy, working capital and customer FCF exposure; reject projects without paid demand.
- PROVE: Offer one bounded, paid decision sprint and document the repeatable licence use case.
30-DAY RESULT
Three verified buying centres; three quantified business cases; one qualified paid pilot or explicit no-go; zero speculative own-capital commitments.
