RAPIDKNOWHOW® — VALUE DELIVERED
PowerPost Series · Episode 05
PROVE THE VALUE.
ONE PROMISE. ONE MEASURED RESULT. EVIDENCE YOU CAN CHECK.
The presentation looks excellent. The customer has acted. What improved?
Start with ONE result and show the evidence.
WHAT
Connect your offer to a measurable customer outcome: time saved, cost reduced, service improved, or cash released.
Record the starting point, apply one change, and compare the result. Explain what you measured and what remains uncertain.
WHY
A promise helps customers understand the offer. Evidence helps them assess whether it delivers.
A clear before-and-after example also helps your team decide what to improve, repeat, or stop.
HOW — THREE ACTIONS TODAY
- Agree ONE result. Choose a measure the customer cares about. Record its starting value, the measurement period, and the person responsible.
- Test ONE change. Keep a record of what changed, what it cost, and other factors that could affect the outcome. Compare similar operating conditions where possible.
- Show the evidence. Present the starting point, the observed result, and the cost of achieving it. Have the responsible customer or business owner check the figures. State the limits before deciding to expand.
EXAMPLE — INDUSTRIAL GAS DELIVERY PLANNING
A supplier and customer agree to test a revised delivery schedule. They record urgent deliveries, delivery cost, consumption, and service interruptions before and during the test.
At the review, they check whether fewer urgent deliveries reduced total cost while maintaining the agreed service level. They account for changes in demand and the cost of running the test.
Count verified savings once. Record any cash released separately from recurring cost savings. Expand the approach only when the evidence supports it.
YOUR 30-DAY TARGET
ONE documented case showing the starting point, the action, the observed result, and the next decision. If results need longer to emerge, report progress and set the next review date.
Promise → Act → Measure → Verify → Repeat.

This series is an independent thought experiment. It does not quote Steve Jobs or claim to know what he would do today. The example describes a proposed application, not a verified customer result.
